FBOCT Luke Audition Part 3 - InvitationThe light dimmed away, buildings flanking Luke's sides as they faded into view. He was now standing on a road as it filled towards the new horizon. Vivid and colorful signs came into view, advertising a wealth of casinos, hotels, and restaurants. It didn't take long to figure out where he was. A strip of road, casinos galore, and nothing but lights as far as the eye can see.
"Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas!" a hologram suddenly shouted in Luke's face, startling him. Las Vegas now had holograms? Luke also noticed flying cars in the black sky. This obviously wasn't the Las Vegas he knew of.
"Must still be in the future," Luke thought as he took in his surroundings, "But what time specifically?" Just then, Luke noticed two voices behind him. They must've been getting closer because their voices got clearer.
"I'm sure I saw a time warp, Merf!" a girl said as she ran towards Luke.
"Saw a time warp? So she's familiar with time travel," Luke thought, "Is she expecting me or something?"
FBOCT Luke Audition Part 2 - Andromeda DisbandedThe Aurora spaceship flew across the the sea of stars. Defeat and disappointment loomed within it's crew.
"What!?" Luke shouted, startling both Tajh and Ko'resh.
"Your pocket watch was stolen by some-" Amaro said through the communication screen, but was quickly interrupted.
"Yeah yeah, I heard what you said before," Luke said.
"No need to be rude, we're doing our best to find the thief," Amaro tried to reassure Luke, "Could it possibly be that assassin you claim is chasing you?"
"Probably," Luke replied as he recalled the man who attacked him earlier. He wasn't the assassin, but he seemed to know who Luke was.
"Any clue where he might be?" Amaro asked.
"None," Luke answered, "If it was him, he's probably gone by now."
"I see," Amaro replied, "Well, we'll let you know about any further developments." The communication screen closed straight after, leaving everyone in an uncomfortable atmosphere.
"What's so special about that watch anyway?" Tajh asked. Having nothing to do, and being to
FBOCT Luke Auditon Part 1 - Find the AnswersRain came down in torrents on London of the 1890's. Big Ben's grand chime echoed throughout the darkness, heralding the coming of midnight.
"No," a younger Luke whispered, "No, you can't die." The rain gave Luke his tears as they flowed around his face and drenched his clothes.
"I don't want to either," a man said, fighting through the blood pouring in his lungs, "But it looks like none of us are getting our wish." Luke simply watched his mentor die before him. He was helpless. Helpless to save him. He could only watch him die. That assassin killed him, all because he wanted Luke's time machine. While grief and guilt washed over Luke like the rain, a fire of anger lit within him as he glared into his pocket.
"It's all because of this," Luke said as he yanked out his time machine. His anger burned brighter every second he gazed upon the machine. "I never wanted this, I didn't ask for this," he said as his knuckles turned white from squeezing the time machine.
I WISH I NEV
Nervous MovementYou're a dime a dozen in a sea of billions.
Individuality has no significance in numbers so vast.
And while this fact makes looking forward hard
we can't keep living in the past.
You're a nervous movement in a freeze frame scene.
Steady hands won't help hold up such a fragile act.
And while you take your time keeping character
you fake what you can't take back.
With nothing more than a thought we form our actions
and this is where we extinguish the lie they tried to invent.
The lie that we painted our lives without passion
well conclusions are useless with no attempt to commence.
You're a song I can't name stuck in my head.
I've listened to you before and probably will again.
And while I can hum the melody all day long waiting
for it to hit me I still won't know where you've been.
You're a gust that has never changed direction.
Nothing can touch you you're only felt as you brush skin.
And while you can't be stopped nothing lasts
nothing escapes time not even the wind.
Keep in Touch!
